When the previous developer/host of the password-protected
dealer extranet for Pontiac's then-new Vibe vehicle
went out of business, Plumstreet took on the difficult
task of rebuilding the entire site piece by piece
from scratch, due to encountering proprietary tools
which were not transferable to a new environment.
Using JSP, Plumstreet successfully "retooled"
the existing back-end code, redesigned the front-end
of a major section of the site, and hosted/maintained
the site to support the training and marketing efforts
of Pontiac dealers nationwide.
Upon completion, this site allowed for the continuing
education of Pontiac dealers and their sales force.
Both this project and the Hummer
CD-ROM are part of an ongoing working relationship
with the "Education/Training" arm of GM.
